How much does a storage unit cleanout cost in the Bay Area?
Unit cleanouts are priced on the unit size and how tightly it is packed. A half-empty locker and one packed floor-to-ceiling are very different jobs even at the same square footage. Tell us the unit size and the facility when you call 877-536-7941 and we will quote it there and then - most customers find one cleanout costs less than carrying the unit for another few months.
Do I need to be there?
No. If you authorise access with the facility office, we can clear the unit entirely without you present and send photos when it is done. Plenty of our the Bay Area customers no longer live nearby, which is usually how the unit ended up forgotten in the first place.
Can you help with a unit I bought at auction?
Yes, and this is a large part of what we do. Take out what you want, and we will clear the rest — usually the same day, which matters because facilities start charging you as soon as the clearance window closes.
Will you sweep the unit out?
Yes. Most facilities require broom-clean condition before they will close the contract and stop billing, so it is included as standard rather than treated as an extra.
What if some of the contents are still good?
They get donated rather than dumped. Usable furniture, household goods and clothing go to local charity partners. Tell us if you want a donation receipt and we will arrange it.
What about mould or pest damage?
Common in long-forgotten units, and we are equipped for it. Damp coastal air across much of the Bay Area County means water-damaged contents are the norm rather than the exception in units that have sat for years.
